Montevideo provides Tomorrowland with a green, layered workplace where plants, interior landscapes, and heritage create an inspiring environment

Tomorrowland has moved into the historic Montevideo buildings in Antwerp, a former port warehouse with a strong heritage character. To support the company’s growth, a working environment was created where greenery and architecture go hand in hand. From the outset, the green character of the complex was an important condition for Tomorrowland.
Around and inside the Montevideo building, various garden spaces were designed to complement and enhance each other. On the roof lies an enclosed rooftop garden with a waterfall, a water feature, and rich, layered planting.
Inside, an interior landscape was developed with thousands of plants from around the world, including lianas, climbers, and carnivorous species. A striking element of the design is a three-dimensional concrete edge that flows smoothly through the spaces like a continuous line.
Each area has its own planting concept, creating distinct atmospheres. Employees work literally among the greenery, in an environment that feels both inspiring and secure. In close collaboration with Dieter Vander Velpen Architects and OYO Architects, a contemporary workplace was realized that aligns perfectly with Tomorrowland’s vision.
